SA-13.02 – Hit and Run – Bodily Injury

• Vehicle subject to impounding for 12 hours (Officer discretion)
• Fine of $400
• Imprisonment up to 6 Months(Officer discretion)

SA-13.03 – Hit and Run – Property Damage

• If the vehicle is not roadworthy after the incident it is subject to impound.
  • Impound time shall not exceed 8 hours.
• Fine of $200 Base with modifiers for the following:
  • Fence $150 Per fence section hit.
  • Hydrant $650 Per hydrant.
  • Traffic Lights $1200 Per traffic light
  • Traffic Signs $250 Per traffic sign.
  • Any other objects not listed will be $150 per object.

SA-13.04 – DWI

• Driver subject to arrest imprisonment shall not exceed 3 Months
• Vehicle shall be impounded for 24 hours
• License shall be suspended for 24 Hours
• Subsequent offenses will result in 2X the base punishment for strike 2 and 3X the base punishment for strike 3.
• After strike 3 the license is permanently revoked.
• All imprisonment sentences after strike 3 is 12 Months

SA-13.05c – Speeding 20-29 MPH Over Posted Limit

• Base fine is $500 with addition of 3.5X their speed that was clocked added.
• I.E. 90MPH would be 500+315=815, The fine total would be $815

SA-13.05b – Speeding 10-19 MPH Over Posted Limit

• Base fine is $400 with addition of 3X their speed that was clocked added.
• I.E. 90MPH would be 400+270=670, The fine total would be $670

SA-13.05a. – Speeding 1-9 MPH Over Posted Limit

• Base fine is $200 with addition of 2X their speed that was clocked added.
• I.E. 90MPH would be 200+180=380, The fine total would be $380

SA-13.06 – Street Racing

• Vehicle subject to impound up to 24 hours (officer discretion)
• License suspension up to 24 Hours (officer discretion)
• Fine of $1500

SA-13.07 – Reckless Driving

• Vehicle subject to impound up to 24 hours (officer discretion)
• License suspension up to 24 Hours (officer discretion)
• Fine of $750
• Imprisonment up to 6 months (officer discretion)

SA-13.08 – Aggressive Driving

• License suspension up to 6 Hours (officer discretion)
• Fine of $250

SA-13.09 – Illegal Passing

SA-13.10 – Following Too Closely

SA-13.11 – Driving on Wrong Side of Road

• Fine of $50

SA-13.12 – Failure to Observe Traffic Control Device (Sign/Light)

• Fine of $120

SA-13.13 – Speeding Through Safety Zone

• Fine base of $250 plus 2X the speed
• If weather is inclement additional charge of $250 is to be applied
• I.e 75MPH 250+150 = $400 If its raining or snowing add an additional $250 so the new fine would be $650

SA-13.14 – No Operators License

• Vehicle subject to impound up to 24 hours (officer discretion)
• Fine of $1000
• Imprisonment up to 3 months (officer discretion)

SA-13.15 – Failure to Yield Right of Way

• Fine of $200

SA-13.16 – Failure to Yield to Emergency Vehicle

• Fine of $400

SA-13.17 – Failure to Display License Plate

• Vehicle subject to impound up to 12 hours (officer discretion)
• Fine of $175
